Actors are Company Members at Flock Theatre. It’s a role with both perks and responsibilities, and a key part of the company’s creative life.
Perks as actors
As an actor, you get access to a few special perks, such as:
- Weekly rehearsal with the company, directed and/or organised by Laura or Gael
- Participation in weekly shows from Flock Theatre
- Priority to perform in special shows and events (Laura & Gael Specials, International Specials, Flock Theatre Productions, etc.)
- Possibility to direct a What Impro
- Free access to all Flock Theatre shows
- 25% off workshops and classes during the season
- Option to opt-in for teaching classes, being hired in corporate gigs, etc. and get priority for those roles.
- Any other Company Members perk
Responsibilities as actors
As an actor, you also take on a few responsibilities, such as:
- Being available for rehearsals (Wednesdays 16:30-18:30) and shows (Thursdays 19:30)
- A financial contribution of €150 for the full season, which covers participation in approx. 40 rehearsals and shared costs
- Taking up an average of one logistics shift (tech, bar, etc.) and one advertising shift (flyers, posters) per month
- Showing up to the weekly rehearsals, with the mindset and drive to grow and improve
- Caring about how Flock grows — wanting it to thrive because you’re part of it, and being curious about how it all works (like production, shows, etc.)
