In it, a small group of advanced students will dive deeper into the art form and explore scenework with me, in a new type of planning: 3 times 3 days of intensive workshop spread in the fall, winter and spring.

This Superclass is for any ambitious intermediate to advanced improviser that would like to dive deeper into the work of unscripted theatre. It’s perfect for you if:
The sessions will focus on sharpening your scene work skills, in order to deepen relationships, the world and your own character. The type of work will be a combination of genuine, silly, heartfelt, grounded, truthfully comedic and sometimes heartbreaking.

We will widen the range of what we can make an audience feel, while developing a coherent reality here and now, with your scene partners. Theatre is made for the audience first—and we’ll keep that at the center of our work.
The skills we will work on will cover, amongst others:
